I feel so honored to have been offered Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science (DSc Honoris Causa) by University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), the university that gave me everything.

I am a proud alumnus of the university where I first studied political science before pursuing another degree in law.

I thank the University Governing Council led by Senator Mao Ohuabunwa and the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Owunari Georgewill, for finding me worthy of this honour.

I am happy and I accept the offer on behalf of my family, my wife and my friends and I promise to be there to celebrate the golden jubilee of the university.

I will also continue to partner and support the university.
