BREAKING Cross River Workers Threaten Picket Over Unpaid Salaries Since December 2025 Tension is rising in the Cross River State civil service as frustrated workers have threatened to picket the office of the state Accountant-General over the continued non-payment of their salaries. Speaking in Calabar on Friday, the workers told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that their financial situation has become unbearable, alleging that they were last paid in December 2025.
