Tompolo’s full name is High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo. A prominent figure from the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, he is a former leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) and a traditional leader associated with the Egbesu deity. He is often referred to as a "force of nature" in the region and leads Tantita Security Services Limited.
