The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State has fixed the nomination form fee for local government chairmanship aspirants at ₦30 million, a figure higher than the total salary earned over a four-year tenure.
The disclosure was made by the APC State Chairman, Stanley Okoro Emegha, while briefing journalists in Abakaliki following a closed-door meeting with party officials from across the state.
According to Emegha, the decision was taken after consultations within the party ahead of the forthcoming local government elections in the state.
