Geregu Power Plc has appointed former Zamfara State governor and senator, Abdulaziz Yari, as chairman following billionaire investor Femi Otedola’s resignation. The board changes were approved during a Monday meeting after Otedola sold his majority stake in the company for N1.08 trillion to MA’AM Energy Ltd. Several new non-executive and independent directors were also appointed, including Abdulkadeer Njiddah, Usman Mohammed, Mohammed Jaafaru, Neka Adogu, and legal expert Mahmud Magaji.
