Enugu Court Remands Suspected Hoodlums Linked to State Commissioner Over Violent Attacks on Mburubu Community

The Enugu State Police Command has arraigned suspected hoodlums allegedly linked to the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Engr. Lawrence Ezeh, over violent attacks and vandalism in Mburubu community, Nkanu East LGA. The court proceedings, held at Chukwuani Magistrate Court on December 19, 2025, revealed that some suspects acted on instructions from the community’s Chief Security Officer. The magistrate rejected a request for dismissal and remanded the suspects at Enugu State Correctional Centre.
