In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Ganduje described the arrest demand as “reckless, baseless, and a clear reflection of the governor’s desperation and incompetence.”
He further accused Governor Abba Yusuf’s administration of abandoning its duty to protect lives and property, noting that the government has failed to address the rising insecurity affecting several local government areas across Kano State.
