After completing his secondary education at St Murumba Secondary School Jude pursued higher education at the University of Jos where he studied Business Administration. His education equipped him with valuable business skills that would later play a crucial role in his career in the music industry. While his brothers focused on performing Jude gravitated toward the managerial and production side of the creative process demonstrating a keen interest in organising projects and directing artistic output.

This period of hardship taught him resilience and deepened his resolve to succeed in the competitive world of Nigerian entertainment.

Jude’s role in his brothers’ music careers began to take shape as the group that became P‑Square started to gain recognition in the early 2000s. As P‑Square grew in fame differences emerged over management control and financial arrangements. In 2016 Peter Okoye publicly stated that he no longer wanted Jude as the manager of the group sparking widespread media attention and leading to a period where Jude stepped back from that role.

Tensions between the brothers resurfaced dramatically in 2025 when Jude was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on charges related to alleged money laundering and the misappropriation of royalties. The case involved accusations that funds totaling approximately ₦1.38 billion $1 million and £34 000 were diversified through his company and used for personal purchases including property acquisitions.
