JOINING MY YAHOO FRIENDS

In the heart of the city lived Sola, a young man tired of poverty and watching others succeed. Every night, he scrolled through social media, seeing flashy cars and luxury apartments. Friends told him, “Just join us. Yahoo is fast money.” At first, Sola resisted—but hunger and frustration slowly weakened his resolve.

He learned how to lie, create fake profiles, and type sweet words to strangers he would never meet. Money began to come in. His room filled with gadgets, designer clothes, and sudden respect. People feared him. Some admired him. But peace never followed.

Sleep abandoned Sola. Every knock sounded like the police. Every phone call made his heart race. He stopped trusting friends, suspecting betrayal everywhere. The lies he told online began to poison his real life.

One night, as he drove through the city in a borrowed car, police sirens screamed behind him. He was arrested, his devices seized, his secrets exposed. In court, the money meant nothing. His mother cried. His future collapsed.

In prison, Sola realized the truth too late: quick money comes with a heavy price. Freedom, dignity, and peace cannot be stolen.

When he was released years later, the city had moved on. The flashy life was gone, but the shame remained.

Moral;Money gotten through deceit brings fear, loss, and regret. True success may be slow, but it comes with peace, honor, and lasting freedom.
