• Nollywood rising star Seun Confirm dies.

    Nollywood actor and producer Seun Osundiya, popularly known as ‘Seun Confirm,’ has died.

    His colleague, Jaiye Kuti, confirmed the news in an Instagram post on Thursday.

    The cause of death was reported as complications from benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also known as an enlarged prostate.

    Jaiye Kuti expressed deep grief, writing: “Seun Confirm. Your death pains me greatly. High BPH. We shall meet at the feet of Jesus. Sleep well, and may God comfort your family.”

    Fellow actor Oluwaseyi Edun also paid tribute, recalling a recent chat with Seun in July.

    Seun Confirm was a fast-rising actor in Yoruba-language films, known for roles in Osole, Eru Aye, Ajoke Apesin, and Mr. Jerico.

    Beyond acting, he was also a film producer and master of ceremonies (MC), earning a reputation for his versatility and growing prominence in the industry.

    Nollywood actor Jerry Williams has allegedly been taken into custody by the Nigerian Police Force in Edo State.

    The arrest, which reportedly occurred on July 21, 2025, was disclosed by film producer Stanley Ontop. He claimed that officers led by Nwafor Franklin, also known as Izutech, stormed the actor’s residence and whisked him away.

    Stanley expressed concern for the actor’s safety, insisting that Izutech should be held responsible if anything untoward happens to Williams. He also recounted arriving at the scene shortly after the incident, only to find the apartment empty and his efforts to trace their whereabouts unsuccessful.

    “Before I reached Jerry’s apartment, they had already left.I chased them with my car yet, I didn’t see them”, The post stated.

    His death was confirmed to Peoples Gazette on Friday by his colleague, comedian Steve Onu, popularly known as Yaw, who said he was still trying to reach Mr Peters’ brother for further details.

    “Yes, he is,” Yaw told Peoples Gazette when asked if Mr Peters had died. “I am still trying to speak with his brother but he is not picking.”
