CAMPUS CLASH: A University of Oklahoma student says she was given a zero on an assignment after sharing her biblical and Christian worldview on gender norms.
Samantha Fulnecky and her classmates were asked to respond to a scholarly article titled "Relations Among Gender Typicality, Peer Relations, and Mental Health During Early Adolescence," which reviews how middle schoolers navigate gender norms and the social fallout for those who don’t conform.
“I did this assignment the same as I would any other in that class, gave my opinion on gender binary and gender stereotypes and that, naturally my views are from the Bible and my Christian kind of worldview," Samantha Fulnecky said.
“And so that’s what I wrote about and I didn’t think anything of it," she added.
