Recent rumors surrounding Super Eagles star Victor Boniface and his Norwegian girlfriend, Rikke Hermine, have been making waves on social media. However, the Bayer Leverkusen forward has strongly denied the claims, labeling them as "fake."

The speculation suggested that Hermine had insisted on a legal marriage without a prenuptial agreement, which Boniface allegedly refused, leading to the breakup. These reports sparked widespread discussion online in recent days.

In response, Boniface took to social media to shut down the rumors. In a now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter), written partially in Pidgin English, the Nigerian striker firmly denied the allegations.

“Stop posting fake shit you guys know nothing about,” Boniface wrote. He went on to criticize the spread of false information, stating, “People will just pick their phones and post without verification. Not everyone is like your sister. So, respect yourself. Everything you guys say about her are all lies.”

Boniface has been a key player for Bayer Leverkusen this season. The forward was instrumental in the team’s unbeaten Bundesliga campaign, which culminated in winning the league title and the German Cup.

As Leverkusen continues their impressive season under Xabi Alonso, Boniface remains a pivotal figure. He is also expected to play a crucial role for Nigeria when the 2026 World Cup qualifiers resume in March.
