With your HND Lower Credit, you don’t necessarily need to go back to university for another degree before pursuing a career in cybersecurity. My advice is to focus on professional certifications and practical skills. 1. Start with networking fundamentals (CCNA or CompTIA Network+). 2. Learn cybersecurity basics through Google Cybersecurity Certificate. 3. Work towards CompTIA Security+ certification. 4. Choose a specialization such as Ethical Hacking, Digital Forensics, or Security Analysis. 5. Gain hands-on experience through TryHackMe and Hack The Box. 6. Build a portfolio and start applying for entry-level cybersecurity roles.
