Tompolo Denies Issuing Ultimatum to Federal Government Over Nnamdi Kanu’s Release

The Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has refuted reports claiming he issued a 21-day ultimatum to the Federal Government demanding the release of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

In a statement signed by his media consultant, Paul Bebenimibo, Tompolo dismissed the viral publication as false and mischievous, clarifying that he has no involvement in any matter related to Nnamdi Kanu.

“We wish to state unequivocally that High Chief Ekpemupolo did not author or endorse the said publication. It is the handiwork of detractors seeking to tarnish his image because of his strong opposition to illegal crude oil operations in the Niger Delta. These individuals have failed and will continue to fail, as Tompolo remains resolute in his fight against oil theft and pipeline vandalism,” the statement read.

Reaffirming his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, Tompolo expressed his commitment to the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and his backing for a potential second term.

The statement urged the public and the Federal Government to disregard the misleading report, stressing that it does not represent Tompolo’s views or any official communication from him.
