“Tinubu Surrounded by Sycophants, Disconnected from Nigerians' Suffering” — Activist Usman Bugaje Alleges
Political activist Usman Bugaje has taken a swipe at President Bola Tinubu, claiming the president is out of touch with the daily struggles of ordinary Nigerians due to being shielded by sycophantic aides.
Bugaje argued that the rising poverty, insecurity, and economic hardship across the nation are being overlooked by the presidency, blaming the "echo chamber of praise-singers" around Tinubu for distorting the truth.
“The president cannot feel the pain of the people because those around him have insulated him from reality,” Bugaje stated.
His remarks add to growing criticism of the Tinubu-led administration, especially amid ongoing inflation, food crises, and fuel subsidy concerns.
