Shut Out Crisis Merchants & Embrace Peace” — Eradiri Urges Fubara to Strengthen Reconciliation with Wike

Former Bayelsa LP governorship candidate Udengs Eradiri has urged suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, to shut his doors against political opportunists and commit fully to the reconciliation process with his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.

Eradiri praised Fubara for apologizing to Wike, a move he had earlier advised, despite criticism from Ijaw leaders. He warned that the true enemies of Rivers State are those who profit from the crisis, offer misleading advice, and manipulate ethnic tensions for personal gain.

He also condemned actions by Fubara’s supporters that could derail peace efforts, including walking out on a program organized under Senator Remi Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Initiative.

Calling for unity, Eradiri appealed to Wike and other stakeholders to forgive and help Fubara regain political stability—urging the governor not to squander this “second chance” made possible by President Tinubu’s intervention.
