FUOYE SUG Elections Rocked by Rigging Allegations
Students of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) are raising serious concerns over the integrity of the recent Student Union Government (SUG) elections, accusing the university management of manipulating the process to install their preferred candidate.
According to widespread reports on social media, students allege that the election results were tampered with, claiming irregularities in the collation process and interference by university officials. Many are now calling for transparency, accountability, and even a rerun of the elections.
The university is yet to issue an official response, but tensions remain high as students demand justice and a fair democratic process on campus.
