• Kano Magistrate Court Orders Viral TikTok Duo to Marry Within 60 Days Over ‘Immoral’ Videos.

A Magistrate Court in Kano has ordered the Hisbah Board to arrange and formalize the marriage between two well-known TikTok personalities, Idris Mai Wushirya and Basira Yar Guda, within 60 days.

The directive comes after both creators appeared in viral videos considered “indecent” by the Kano State Films and Video Censorship Board. The videos, which featured the pair displaying romantic affection, were said to contravene the state’s moral and religious codes.

Presiding Magistrate Halima Wali issued the order on Monday, warning that failure to complete the marriage within the specified period would amount to contempt of court.

The court further instructed the Chairman of the Kano State Films and Video Censorship Board to supervise the implementation of the ruling.

Daily Trust reports that the two TikTokers had earlier been arraigned for allegedly creating and circulating obscene content online. Mai Wushirya was previously remanded after clips showing him and the female creator in compromising situations went viral.

Authorities maintained that the acts violated existing laws in Kano prohibiting the production and dissemination of sexually suggestive materials.

  • Kano Court Jails TikToker, Mai Wushirya, Over Indecent Video, Orders Female Partner’s Arrest.

A Magistrate Court in Kano has remanded popular TikTok personality, Ashiru Idris, widely known as Mai Wushirya, in a correctional centre for posting indecent videos featuring a dwarf woman, whose identity remains undisclosed.

Presided over by Magistrate Halima Wali of Court No. 7, the court ordered that the content creator remain in custody for two weeks pending the continuation of the case.

According to LEADERSHIP, officials of the Kano State Censorship Board arrested Mai Wushirya last week after clips showing him shirtless and engaging in what authorities described as “immoral and demeaning acts” with the woman went viral on social media.

The Board stated that the videos violated state censorship laws, which prohibit the production or circulation of obscene or sexually suggestive content.

Speaking after the ruling, the Board’s Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Sani Sulaiman, said the court had also directed that the woman featured in the videos appear at the next hearing.

“The court has ordered that his partner be brought before it at the next sitting. Before his arraignment, we tried to get him to cooperate with us to locate her, but he refused. Now that there’s a court order, we are confident she will be found,” Sulaiman said.

He further disclosed that the woman is believed to have fled to Zamfara State, but authorities are working to ensure her return to Kano to face trial alongside the TikToker.

    Following in Mariah’s Footsteps

“It’s really nice to see them performing onstage,” she told People. “They’re rehearsing, working hard, and going for it — that’s impressive to me.”

However, the global superstar also made it clear she won’t pressure her kids into fame:

“They can be anything they want to be,” Mariah told W Magazine.

  • 23-year-old American Climber, Balin Miller, Dies while climbing a 3000-foot granite wall in Yosemite National Park.

American climber Balin Miller has d+ed at the age of 23 while attempting a climb in Yosemite National Park, his family confirmed on Thursday.

Miller was on El Capitan, the park’s iconic 3,000-foot granite wall immortalized by Alex Honnold’s Free Solo, when the fatal accident occurred during his ascent of the “Sea of Dreams” route. His mother, Jeanine Moorman, announced the news in a post on the website of VIRR, the family’s outdoor goods company.

“This is unthinkable,” she wrote. “At this time, we do not yet know all the details. What we do know is that the world has lost an extraordinary soul, and our hearts are shattered.”

Moorman remembered her son as a free spirit with “a touch of Robin Williams’ wild energy,” describing him as curious, strategic, and endlessly playful.

Born into a family that embraced the outdoors, Miller was introduced to climbing by his father in the mountains of Alaska and grew into a fearless adventurer who scaled cliffs and ranges around the world.

Living a nomadic lifestyle, often out of his silver Prius, he pieced together a shoestring income to fund his passion. “Balin was full of life, a true wild card at heart,” his mother wrote.

A beloved figure in the climbing community, Miller became popular for his TikTok livestreams and was affectionately nicknamed the “orange tent guy” for his bright gear. His distinctive glitter makeup also drew attention; he once compared it to “a warrior putting makeup on before going into battle,” in an interview with Climbing magazine earlier this year.

In June, he achieved what is believed to be the first solo climb of the Slovak Direct route on Denali (Mount McKinley), North America’s tallest peak. He had only recently returned from an ice and alpine expedition in Alaska and had long dreamed of conquering a Yosemite lead.

His death coincided with the first day of the U.S. federal government shutdown, a development that left many national parks at risk of closure or reduced services.
