British designer Kim Jones has resigned as artistic director of Dior Homme after seven years leading the brand’s menswear collections, the fashion house announced on Friday.

Dior expressed gratitude for Jones’ contributions, stating that he played a key role in expanding its global influence by blending classic tailoring with contemporary and artistic elements.

Jones, 51, joined Dior in 2018, infusing the brand with a youthful, streetwear-inspired aesthetic. Known for his belief that “gender doesn’t matter anymore,” his designs often embraced androgynous elements.

His final collection for Dior Homme debuted in Paris last week, featuring models in blindfolds and drawing inspiration from the brand’s 1954-1955 Line H collection.

Jones previously stepped down as artistic director of womenswear at LVMH-owned Fendi in October 2024, after four years in the role.
