The Federal High Court Abuja has adjourned the hearing of Dangote Petroleum Refinery’s suit against the NMDPRA and other oil companies to January 30. The case seeks to stop the issuance of oil import licenses to certain companies. Dangote Refinery, which filed the suit, claims the NMDPRA’s action violates the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) and demands N100 billion in damages. The matter was delayed due to a procedural issue regarding the service of the amended summons. The court will reconvene to determine the next steps.
