Primate Ayodele Urges NSA Nuhu Ribadu to Back Forest Security Service
The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has called on the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, to strengthen rather than suppress Nigeria’s forest security service.
In a statement released by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric stressed that the security outfit has a crucial role to play in tackling kidnapping and banditry across the country.
According to Primate Ayodele, proper support for the forest security service would significantly aid Nigeria’s fight against insecurity and contribute to restoring safety in rural and vulnerable communities.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), the NSA, and several ministers have convened an emergency meeting amid plans for a nationwide protest.
