The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has officially announced the Hajj fare for the 2025 pilgrimage, with Southern pilgrims expected to pay N8.7 million. Pilgrims from Borno and Adamawa zones will pay N8.3 million, while those from the Northern zone will be charged N8.4 million.

In a statement released on Monday, NAHCON emphasized that the fares were determined after comprehensive consultations with relevant stakeholders, including the presidency and state pilgrims’ boards.

According to the commission, the 2025 Hajj fare breakdown is as follows:

  • Southern states: N8.7 million
  • Borno and Adamawa zones: N8.3 million
  • Northern zone: N8.4 million

The commission highlighted that the decision was the result of careful deliberations to ensure an inclusive and fair pricing structure.

NAHCON also urged prospective pilgrims to adhere to the Saudi guidelines, register early, and ensure timely payments to avoid any inconvenience as the Hajj season approaches.
