Jos Apprentice Accuses Chemist Boss of Sexual Assault
A young apprentice, Aisha Haruna, has accused her employer, Ibrahim Rawi, of sexually assaulting her at a chemist shop in Jos Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Speaking in a video shared by Trust TV, Aisha recounted that the incident occurred on Sunday evening, between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., when she went to the shop for her usual training. She explained that it began to rain heavily, and at that moment, her boss allegedly locked the shop door and threatened to kill her with a pair of scissors if she resisted.
According to her, Ibrahim forcefully stripped off her clothes despite her struggle and sexually assaulted her.
“As an apprentice, I go to the chemist to understudy the business. Unfortunately, on Sunday when it was raining, he closed the door, threatened to kill me with scissors, forcefully removed my clothes and sexually assaulted me,” Aisha narrated.
The disturbing revelation has sparked outrage online, with many Nigerians calling for a thorough investigation and justice for the victim.
