Jimoh, formerly Commissioner of Police for Eastern Ports, brings extensive experience to his new role in Lagos after being confirmed by the Police Service Commission.
The Police Service Commission has approved the appointment of Olohundare Moshood Jimoh as the new Commissioner of Police for Lagos State Command.
According to a statement from the Commission’s Head of Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, Jimoh was previously the Commissioner of Police at the Ports Authority, Eastern Ports.
A native of Kwara State, Jimoh has held several notable positions within the force, including Force Public Relations Officer, Deputy Commissioner of Airport Police, Deputy Commissioner of Finance and Administration, and Deputy Commissioner of General Investigation.
Jimoh’s appointment was confirmed after he appeared before the Commission’s Chairman, DIG Hashimu Argungu, along with Justice Adamu Paul Galmuje (retired Supreme Court Justice), and DIG Taiwo Lakanu, Honourable Commissioner representing the Police.
